Tonia is no secret to the music industry scene.... She been at this since the age of five(5) years old in the 70's. It all started at her childhood church in the youth choir at Greater Evergreen Baptist Church and at the family events. At the age of eight(8) years old, she became a member of The New Orleans Gospel Soul Children under the the director of the late Albert Sylvester Hadley. Tonia wasn't just a regular soprano in the choir. She became one of their lead singers and took piano lessons from the late Dwight Franklin and Wanda Hogan which landed her first "LIVE" performance at 10yrs old at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival leading and playing piano. After graduating from highschool Tonia decided to go a step further doing other style of music..... It could of been any style of music, Tonia will study, learn, master, and deliver it.
At the age of nineteen, (19) yrs old, she got to showcase her talents all over the city of New Orleans at the local bars and festivals, like Tipitina's, House Of Blues, B.B.Kings, Kermit Mother's Law Lounge, Rock N Bowl, New Orleans Mint, Rosy's Jazz Hall, Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall, Chicken Wah Wah, The Jaxson, All of New Orleans Country Clubs, Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival, French Quarter Festival , Jazz & Heritage Festival, Satchmo Summerfest and up and down the world famous Bourbon Street.
Tonia's Hype, Energetic, Exciting, Electrifying, captivating and memorable performance even land her overseas in Shanghai, China, Japan, Tokyo, and Germany.
Tonia got to share the stage with Deacon John Moore, Dr John(6 times granmy award winner & Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame In Writing and Blues Allen Toussaint, Charmaine Nevilles, James Andrew, Grammy Award Winner Hall Of Fame Irma Thomas, Hollywood Walk Of Fame Patti LaBelle, Late James Cleveland, Late Raymind Myles, Grammy Award Winner Trombone Shorty, Marva Wright, Michael Ward, and Marcia Ball.
Tonia musical style varies from Rhythm and Blues, Southern Blues, Disco, Jazz, Motown, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Funk.
Of course she got to record with other artists. But it wasn't until August 2022 out all the consisted hard work, tears, lack of sleep etc., was when she recorded her first single with "The Just Right Band" ...... "It's All Over Now".....
